Vancouver, British Columbia — Klean Industries Inc (“Klean”) has issued a Cease and Desist to North East Lincolnshire Council (hereinafter referred to as “NELC”) and Fluid Ice FO Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “FIF”) as it has been brought to the attention of Klean Industries and its counsel. FIF does not have any rights or license to use technology owned by Klean Industries, nor does NELC have the right to approve permits for the use of unlicensed technology owned by Klean Industries without Klean Industries’ permission and a license to use Klean’s technology. The technology used at the Reoil Sp. z.o.o (hereinafter referred to as “Reoil”) facility in Poland was developed, patented, and is owned by Carbon Resources Recovery GmbH (“CRR”) located in Berlin, Germany, a wholly owned subsidiary of Klean Industries Inc.

Reoil Sp. z o. o has no license rights to market, sell, or distribute Klean Industries’ technology as per the CRR’s Binding Injunction Order Against Reoil Sp. z o.o. FIF has no license rights to build or operate a pyrolysis plant “based on the plant” on the Reoil Sp. z o.o. Facility.

North East Lincolnshire Council has approved plans for a pyrolysis plant to process end-of-life tyres in Grimsby. The facility proposed by Fluid Ice FO Ltd has the capacity to process nearly 25,000 tonnes of waste tyres annually. Fluid Ice claims that the plant will use a pyrolysis process “based on the plant” operated by ReOil in Jazworno, Poland, which produces saleable fuel oil, carbon black, steel, and pyrolysis gas.
